Wishing all my readers and friends a Happy and Prosperous 2017
I like to make my own drinks to treat myself, and recently I chose a fall-themed margarita, mostly because I am an ardent lover of tequila. The Apple cider pomegranate margarita is easy to make and was definitely a favorite of mine. We haven’t planned anything much for this New Year’s Eve other than small fireworks in our backyard. As this part of town likes to celebrate with lots of fireworks than our old house area.
I received a sample of Stirrings simple margarita and pomegranate martini mix as part of Stir It Up Holiday Blogger Mixology Challenge along with the rimmer cocktail garnishes for rim of glasses. Since I am Margarita fan, I decided to try their simple margarita. I usually go for traditional way of making margarita, by blending tequila with lime juice, optional simple syrup and either Triple Sec or Cointreau. I like to add fruity taste to it; I tried mango margarita, Pomegranate ginger margarita., Pomegranate ginger margarita. Next in my list is to try pineapple margarita.
For this Apple cider pomegranate margarita I used apple cider, pomegranate juice, and tequila Stirring’s simple margarita mix. I think next time I will add little lime. Stirrings simple margarita has following ingredients, Triple-filtered water, key lime juice from concentrate (water, key lime juice concentrate), cane sugar, nature flavor, citric acid, natural triple sec labor, ascorbic acid (vitamin C). I found Stirrings simple margarita mix is sugary even with apple cider so adding lime will balance the taste. You can buy Stirrings products from 1st Colony Liquors, Total Wines & More, 34 Wine & Liquors, 6S Spirits, ABC Liquors, 82 Liquor store.
I also like to add chili powder along with margarita salt on the rim of the glass. I love the kick, chili gives while sipping down your favorite margarita. We are also near to 2017; I haven’t planned any New Year resolution because it won’t work most of the time. So better not to make any resolution and go with the wind then you won’t feel much guilt is it.
Cheers try to make this delicious margarita for your next get together.
Pin it for later
Disclosure : I received the sample product from Stirrings however all the opinion are mine.
