Mango vodka slushy is a refreshing cocktail with mango, Vodka ,Cointreau/ Triple sec that will take you to a trip tropical beach paradise.
This mango vodka slushy is made with fresh mango, vodka, triple sec and White Claw mango hard seltzer. This is refreshing adult drink with a touch of sweetness from the simple syrup.
What are slushies?
Slushies are frozen beverage, or frozen drink, made of flavored ice and a drink, and has soda.
Summer weather with high temperatures is the best time to enjoy a glass of slushies. Mango is king of fruit and when it joins with vodka it makes best slushies.
Even though you can make slushies with all alcohols, I think vodka is one of the best liquors to make drinks with it. You will love this Mango vodka slushy.
This recipe is from The Hard Seltzer Cocktail Book by Casie Vogel. I tried No sleep ‘til Mango Slushy which is in chapter two of book about summer slushies. Book has 4 chapters.
Chapter one is about boozy brunch, third one is about classy classics and chapter 4 about pregame and party.
I like that small book with lot of fun cocktails around 55 recipes you can make with your favorite Hard seltzer.I recommend this book .
How to choose mango for cocktails?
If you are buying frozen mango from the store that is fine. However, I prefer fresh mango for my cocktails.
When you are choosing mango don’t focus on color but gently squeeze them when it is soft it means it is ripe also. Ripe mangos will sometimes have a fruity aroma at their stems.
Choose sweetest mango as possible, yes Haden, Kent, Keitt, and Tommy Atkins are hailed the sweetest and most flavorful. Ataulfo mango/ honey mango are also sweetest. I like them as it has less fibrous than other mango and is great for making cocktails. You can buy fresh mango and peel, seed and chop them into cubes and freeze .
How to make Mango Vodka Slushy
You need following ingredients to make this slushy,
Mango : You can either use frozen mango from the store or use fresh mango
Vodka : Use best vodka for making this slushy, one you like to drink.
Cointreau/ Triple sec: I have used triple sec here if you have Cointreau in hand use that.
Simple syrup : Make simple syrup with 1:1 sugar and water.
Mango Hard seltzer : I used White Claw Mango seltzer you can use your favorite one.
Ice: without this you can’ t makes any slushies.
Coconut : Sweetened coconut for garnish you can skip it if you don’t want to use it .
Once you gathered all the ingredients it is easy to make using a powerful blender, I used my Kitchen Aid blender.
Variation to this Mango vodka Slushy
Along with mango you can add pineapple to make it mango pineapple vodka slushy.
Adding little coconut water or coconut extract can make tropical paradise slushy.

Mango Vodka Slushy
- 6 ounce vodka
- 2 ounce Cointreau You can use Triple Sec too
- 2 cups frozen mango chunks You can use fresh mango
- 1-2 ounces simple syrup to taste
- 2-4 ice ice
- 12 Ounce mango hard seltzer
- Mango slices for garnish
- Sweetened coconut for garnish
- Add all the ingredients to a blender. Blend.
- Serve immediately.
