Holiday parties are very important to me as they’re a time to get together with my friends and family. Our memories are always connected to fun and food. I like to serve simple, yet tasty dishes. For me, party appetizers play an important role. After all, people try the appetizers first, so they should make a great impression. I am sharing two easy and delicious appetizers that you can make in very little time. I made Maple & Chipotle Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Carrots and Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Mushrooms using Jimmy Dean® Bacon. Thicker cut bacon that delivers great taste and quality is the best part of the Jimmy Dean® brand.
You can buy Jimmy Dean® Bacon and other Tyson® products at your local Randalls/Albertsons Supermarkets. ((Please see store locator, here.)
Tyson® products are the key ingredient to recipes and recipe hacks that can be enjoyed any time of day during the busy holiday season. Multiple meals, multiple times to bring joy -- and these appetizers will definitely bring joy!
These gourmet appetizers take almost no time to make and only a few ingredients. For these glazed bacon-wrapped carrots, you need only 4 ingredients. Yes, that’s all: Jimmy Dean® Bacon, fresh baby carrots, maple syrup and chipotle pepper powder. This dish has every flavor you can expect, the sweetness of the carrots and the maple syrup blends well with the bacon, and the chipotle pepper gives a spicy note to it. Both my hubby and my friend’s family with whom I shared this dish told me it is just delicious and hard to stop with just one.
If guests are mushroom and bacon lovers, then you can impress them with these bacon wrapped stuffed mushrooms. You can use your favorite mushrooms, but make sure to buy bigger ones so there’s room for the filling. I went with button mushrooms. Fill each mushroom with cream cheese, green onion and pepper. Finally wrap each mushroom with a slice of Jimmy Dean® Bacon. To make it stay in place, insert a toothpick through each one. Roast and enjoy. The earthiness of the mushroom with tangy cream cheese and green onions goes well with the Jimmy Dean® bacon. Every bite is full of flavor. If you are using smaller mushroom, cut bacon into half.
Make sure to add these delicious Jimmy Dean® Bacon wrapped dishes to your holiday party menu. After all, bacon makes everything better. Happy cooking and serving during the happiest time of the year and make memories.

These are so cute!! Bacon wrapped anything is awesome. I had a bacon wrapped green beans recipe. I love how everything is charred and combined with the smoky bacon flavor. HEAVEN.

I have seen bacon wrapped asparagus before but never bacon wrapped carrots. Maybe I can get my kids to eat them this way. They look delicious and bacon always makes everything better.

What a lovely idea - they'd be great as a Christmas side dish too I think!

I’m so making these carrots! I love its concept as I really like sweet and salty tastes combine together eg. carmelized bacon or sałaty carmel.
Great blog, btw!

Love both these ideas, I was just telling a friend yesterday that most dishes can be improved by the addition of one or more of bacon, cheese or chocolate! Love the look of the carrots especially.
