What you need
Moong dal/Yellow split peas: 1 cup
Ginger: 1 inch
Green chili: 1 no ( I used Serrano pepper)
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Asafetodia: ¼ teaspoon
Finely chopped Curry leaves: 1 sprig (10 no)
Coriander leaves: 2 tablespoon
Onion: ½ of one onion
Oil for frying: 4 cups (I used canola oil)
Water for soaking the moong dal: 3 cup

Grinding + chopping time: 5 minutes
Frying time: 42 minutes
Yield: 22 no
Verdict: Deadly delicious
