Delicious seasonal pumpkin pie chocolate smoothie with fresh pumpkin puree, chocolate, maple syrup with extra dose of protein.<img width=” width=”3675″ height=”3595″>October is month of pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice for me. It is also month of Choctoberfest.  I decide to celebrate both with Pumpkin Pie Chocolate smoothie. This is simple breakfast smoothie perfect for fall season. Now you can see pumpkin all over starting from pumpkin butter to pumpkin pie spice cereal. Still I prefer to make delicious and simple breakfast smoothie from scratch. I used real pumpkin puree rather pumpkin extract.

Get ready to win $400 Gift packets through this Choctoberfest giveaway.

How I made Pumpkin Pie Chocolate Smoothie?

This recipe is inspired from the Tropical Café’s Pumpkin chocolate smoothie. Since I am not able to find their recipes, I made my own. I used real pumpkin puree, homemade pumpkin pie spice, white chocolate chips and oatmeal. Addition of oatmeal is not in the original recipe that is my addition.  To make it protein rich I used Greek yogurt and milk. If you want to veganize this recipe uses any vegan yogurt and milk. The sweetener I used is maple syrup you can add honey if you want. I used canned pumpkin, if you don’t want to use canned pumpkin you can make your own pumpkin puree check here. To add creaminess to smoothie I have added banana.  If you are smoothie person like me, go ahead and make this smoothie for the breakfast.

Aside from all of the delicious chocolates, the fig spreads are the one I am most interested in. I eat PB&J every day for lunch, and I would love to try those fig spreads in place of the jelly I normally use, especially considering the great flavor assortment they have.

Imperial sugar is the best and I love using it in my favorite recipes. Today, we made Halloween cupcakes and I have a few more goodies I’m working on.

I’m personally not a fan of pumpkin but my daughter loves t. I’ll have to share this recipe with her.

Yum! I love pumpkin-flavored drinks that do not have an overwhelming amount of pumpkin pie spice in them. Sometimes I think people just like cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg, not actual pumpkin flavors!
