How to make Red Velvet white Chocolate Chips Cookies ?
All-purpose flour : Use just all purpose flour or a combo of both all purpose flour and whole wheat pastry flour.
Cocoa powder : Natural cocoa powder makes red velvet cookies more vibrant.
Cornstarch: Makes the cookies soft melt in mouth.
Baking soda:
Salt : Brings out flavor and taste in desserts.
Butter &Vegetable shortening : I have used combo of butter and vegetable shortening. You can use butter alone .
Granulated sugar : Adds Sweetness to the cookies.
Egg : Act as binder and gives lift to cookies.
White vinegar: React with baking soda which in turn start the chemical reaction needed to produce carbon dioxide and give those cookies a lift as they bake.
Vanilla extract : Adds flavor to the cookies
Red food coloring : Is the star ingredients in the recipe gives characteristic color to the cookies
White chocolate chips : White chocolate chips adds sweetness and add colors to the cookies.
