How to make Rice milk
Delicious rice milk ( diary alternative) you can make at home with few ingredients. Vanilla extract is used to flavor this homemade milk.

- ½ cup long grain white rice
- 3 1/4 cup water
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- 1/8 teaspoon salt optional
First wash and soak the rice in 1 ¼ cup warm water (should not be boilinfor 2-3 hours. Then drain and process it in a blender with 2 ¾ cup water, vanilla extract until everything process well. Then strain it in a fine mesh strainer or a double layer cheese cloth. store in refrigerator until use.
If you want you can blend it with 1 mango for mango rice milk smoothie, ½ cup berries for berry milk, and 2 tablespoon cocoa powder to chocolate rice milk.

Tips
You can use brown rice or white rice to make rice milk
Uncooked white rice yields better tasting rice milk which looks like milk.
Homemade rice milk should be better if used fresh. You can make the milk in the night before and store it refrigerator and use it for breakfast cereal or smoothie
