Prickly Pear Lemonade

Delicious prickly pear lemonade with fresh fruit with its burst of color and tropical flair.

  • 2 prickly pears
  • Juice of 1 ½ lemon
  • ½ tablespoon Nectevia
  • 4 cup water
  • Ice
  • Lemon wedge


  • First wash cut both end of prickly pears, then make a slit in the middle and cut through it.
  • Scoop the flesh of prickly pear using spoon or knife.
  • Blend the prickly pear fruit flesh with 1 cup water in a blender.
  • Then strain out for seeds and extract the puree.
  • To the puree add lemon juice,Nectevia

    / sweetener and rest of water and mix well.
  • Serve with ice and extra lemon wedge.
  • Enjoy



  • While cutting the fresh fruit make sure to wear a glove so that you won’t get small spines into your hand.
  • Also strain the fruit puree so that seeds can be removed.
  • Don’t eat too much of prickly pear fruits it tends to upset the stomach so use it in moderation or occasional.
