Brownie Bark

Delicious brownie bark made with  goodness of bitter chocolate, cocoa powder, and coconut sugar. Studded with toasted pecans.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoon Coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup Bitter sweet chocolate I used verse chocolate
  • 2 ½ tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans.

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350°F and line 6.5" x 9.5" Eighth Size. Aluminum Sheet Pan with parchment paper.
  • In a double boiler heat chocolate( 5 pieces), water, and coconut sugar until chocolate melts completely. Once it is cooled down a little bit, add oil, egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  • To this add almond flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and sea salt and combine well.
  • Transfer to prepared pan and arrange with chopped pecans and chopped chocolate and bake for about 15 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
  • Once it is cooled refrigerate and cut it into pieces and enjoy.

If you want, you can double the recipe to make it to 11X17 inch pan for 8 to 10 serving.
