It is Friday again, this one is going to be a hectic weekend as school is going to reopen next week, my whole day schedule is going to change. It is bitter sweet as my kids starts school, my house going to be quiet from morning 7.00 AM to 3.45 P.M. In the back of mind, I am going to miss them. To inaugurate hectic weekend, I decide to try this drink Blueberry Honey Vodka Fizz, a fruit based drink.

Both I and hubby don’t like to drink vodka as such, but my love for fruit based drink makes him also try out my creation. I think my craze started when my friend introduce me to fruity drink while we are visiting New York for a conference. When I search for blueberry vodka recipes, I realized that there two type one using simple vodka and blueberries others use blueberry vodka. I decided to try the former version.

It is simple, just mix blueberries, vodka, lemon juice and dash of honey then muddle everything. Finally mix in with some club soda and ice and enjoy. This time I used a wooden stick. I think for next time I will get a muddler. Next in my mind is use Gin in some recipe and may be something with cherry and mango. It is lingering in my mind.
This drink is not only delicious but it has light pink hue which I love. Who doesn’t like pink? Perfect balance sweetness and tartness from blueberries and lemon with touch of honey adds several layers to this drink. The small fruits does wonders when combined with vodka.

This is great party drink for any type of get together, may be girls night out or a date night. Are you ready to whip up some?

I love fresh and fruity booze drinks. Especially ones that are super easy to make. I can see using raspberries in this being a winner!

This is the perfect summer drink. I happen to love blueberries, and the blueberry/lemon combination is a great pairing too. Add some vodka…and get the party started.
