Sipping ice cold drink in your patio or backyard during hot summer day is always bliss. Yes, summer is here and it is the grilling season, and it is time to make memories with good food and drink. To celebrate this summer, I decide to make this refreshing blackberry sweet tea punch using Milo’s tea. What I love about the summer months is the availability of fresh berries and fruits.
We are avid tea drinkers; India has a custom of drinking tea any time of day or night. We don’t restrict tea to just morning and evening. Now this habit is continued with help of Milo’s sweet tea, you can get it in a gallon container which I buy and store in refrigerator, so that I can drink anytime. Summer holidays are not complete without Milo’s Tea! Do you know National Iced Tea Month is June, and the National Iced Tea Day is on June 10th ? Milo’s Tea is fresh brewed, features natural ingredients, and includes no preservatives or added acids.
Milo’s Tea is the beverage for summer meal entertaining and get-togethers. Milo’s Tea is available as sweetened with pure cane sugar, no calorie and there is also an unsweet version. It is interesting to know Milo’s Tea Company is a third-generation family owned, certified woman owned business located in Bessemer, AL. Milo’s was founded as a restaurant in 1946 by Milo and Bea Carlton when Milo returned after serving his country in World War II. Milo’s philosophy was simple – use high quality, fresh, natural ingredients, listen to your customers and never sacrifice taste. Milo and Bea’s vision still guides the company today as Milo’s continues to source only natural ingredients, fresh brew all their teas and never use colors, acids, additives or preservatives. Read the simple ingredient list on their juices and teas, and you will see the difference.
Coming to this Blackberry sweet tea punch you need to buy Milo’s tea. I used No calorie sweet tea for the recipe. I found Milo’s tea Tea at my local Walmart in the refrigerated juice section but they are available with lots of retailers. Find a store near you by using the store locator. You can make this sweet, plum-hued beverage using fresh or frozen blackberries.
Once you have Milo’s tea and fresh blackberries then making drink is just easy. First make puree of blackberries then mix in Milo’s No calorie tea and then give some extra zing to your punch add ginger ale. And enjoy with lot of ice, refreshing drink makes your summer get together extra ordinary. Are you excited to check out recipe, then here it is?
