This year’s Christmas is almost here, it is on this Thursday. Hope you have finished all the shopping and gifts for Christmas, we did that too. Since this year Santa is bring gifts through our chimney, we needs to prepare for that too. Both I and husband’s present is the wood floor; we are changing our living and study room from carpet to wooden floor. Our carpet was removed yesterday with all 8 long years of memories, both my kids had spilled everything on it, juice, milk water or ketchup it is has marks all over. I felt sad to see the carpet go, that is life; the new replaces the old. I have to start making my Christmas cake this week as I was sick last entire week with bronchitis, still coughing in the night. Here is list of Christmas cakes from my kitchen.
This is famous Christmas cake from my home town Kerala, India, where dry fruits and nuts are soaked in rum /brandy for months and then made it into moist fruit cake. I made 2 version of it here it is.
