Delicious WONDERSHOWZEN Green Smoothie made with frozen banana, fresh spinach , almond butter, unsweetened almond milk with out any added sweetener.
If you been to Austin, Texas then you probably would have visited Juiceland. The last time when we were there, we enjoyed delicious smoothies from there. I wanted to recreate some of the juices in my home kitchen. This is also a perfect smoothie to start your day for St. Patrick’s Day which comes on Tuesday 17th. Finally, I made this WONDERSHOWZEN smoothie at home.
Why Green Smoothie?
Green smoothies are high in vitamin E and vitamin C, as well as fiber and antioxidants. All these substances work together to offer you a better complexion and clearer skin - without costing a fortune. A green smoothie is made from green leafy vegetables, combined with nutrient-rich fruits and finished with a liquid base.
The average active individual should consume up to three cups of vegetables daily, as well as around two cups of fruit. Green smoothies tend to include a large amount of both vegetables and fruit, which means you won't have to worry about your daily intake.
If you are planning to do a weight loss regimen then green smoothies are rich in many vitamins and minerals that support the human body's overall health, thus they can also be an excellent addition to a weight loss regimen.
By simply adding more water to your green breakfast smoothie, you can consume an additional amount of liquid as you need to consume around 2.7 liters of water every day.
Green smoothies are filled with fiber, which help to improve digestion and may even offer relief to the symptoms that are caused by common digestive disorders.
The ingredients that are included in green smoothies are loaded with chlorophyll. This substance has many benefits for the body and also features powerful antioxidant properties.
The high concentrations of folic acid that are found in green leafy vegetables are known to help relief the signs of depression.
How I made WONDER SHOWZEN: Green Smoothie
I used frozen banana, 1 cup of packed spinach, hemp protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, almond butter. Original Juiceland recipe used peanut butter. However, I prefer to use almond butter so used that and, I used ice and water which not in the original recipe. I like to drink smoothie with more water content you can skip both ice and water if you don’t want.
Tips to remember
- Use frozen banana, if using small banana use 2 and if medium use 1 ¼.
- You can use ice and cold water if you want more liquid in your smoothie.
- I used hemp protein powder. If you want, you can use vanilla protein powder too.
- You can use both unsweetened or sweetened almond milk, if you don’t want almond milk, try oats or rice milk
- You can use maple syrup or honey or even 2 dates to sweeten if you want sweeter version of wondershowzen Green smoothie
