Delicious low calorie berry-licious smoothie bowl a rich breakfast smoothie bowl made with only fruits, almond butter, almond milk. Then topped more berries and nutty coconut. Vegan as well as not sugar added.
My day starts with smoothie or a smoothie bowl. This week I tried this Berry-licious Smoothie Bowl which combines all your favorite smoothie ingredients with fruity toppings that will keep you full and satisfied. Yes, filled with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, banana and almond milk with almond butter.
I buy berries as my kids love it, both of my kids will go for strawberries, but only my daughter like blueberries and raspberries. For my son only two fruits in this world that he loves are banana and strawberries and only veggie for him is beet root. So, you can think about how much veggie and fruit intake he is taking every day. It’s a struggle, still I prefer to get him to eat something rather than going hungry.
Best part of the smoothie bowl is skipping the straw! Top your smoothie with fresh fruit and crunchy coconut and enjoy with a spoon. This time I decide to skip on chia or hemp seeds as my daughter is not a fan of it. While making the smoothie bowl she came and ask me for a sample I gave her a spoon. She told me it is good. Can you give me that bowl once done with photographing?
Yes, that is problem because of food blogger mama. My hubby says you make food and make us wait to serve them. I made this berry-licous smoothie bowl without any addition of sugar. If you are planning to give to kids you can add some sweetener, I did that for my daughter.
Naturally sweet blueberries, raspberries and strawberries along with banana and almond milk (I used unsweetened) make great breakfast. I like to use fresh berries and frozen banana. Using frozen bananas will have a similar feel to ice cream. If you want, you can use frozen berries too. Berries are full of antioxidants and can help to fight damaging free radicals that cause disease and premature aging. Fleshy fruits like bananas, offer a pudding like texture when blended. To add protein content, I used almond milk and almond butter.
Keep blending and make this delicious smoothie bowl.
