Delicious Strawberry Red bell pepper apple smoothie antioxidant rich, vegan smoothie made with fruit and veggies.
If you are looking for a vegan smoothie that is low in calories and with extra goodness, then try this Strawberry Red bell pepper apple smoothie. This recipe has extra touch with Barleans’ seriously delicious ™ Omega-3 Flax Strawberry Banana smoothie. I have earlier tried Brownie batter smoothie with chocolate omega swirl.
Best part of this smoothie is it is without any extra added sweetness. Only sweetness from strawberry, apple juice and banana. My daughter who thoroughly loves to eat red bell pepper, lettuce, carrots and apple was happy to find her favorite strawberry banana with red bell pepper. My idea initially was to make a smoothie bowl. Consistency I got was not good for smoothie bowl so decide to stick it as smoothie.
Red fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins A and C, manganese, and fiber, making them great for heart health and overall good health. This plus red apples have quercetin, a compound that seems to fight colds, flus, and allergies. Also, kids will love the color and drink smoothie without making much fuss.
When you add seriously delicious ™ Omega-3 Flax Strawberry Banana smoothie simple smoothie get extra benefits. These omega swirls are made with ultra-purified Fresh Catch Fish® Oil and/or Barlean’s famous flax oil also delicious you can have them with smoothies, yogurt or oatmeal or you can even drizzle over ice cream to make it extra special. Please check out here for various other flavors like Seriously Delicious ™ Omega-3 Fish oil Pina colada, Mango peach smoothie etc.
This smoothie is even good for those who are not a fan of veggies. Adding a few veggies along with berry makes a great tasting smoothie without tasting the veggie. If you use ¼ cup red bell pepper, then it won’t be over powering, the taste is balanced with strawberry, banana and apple juice. If you want to make it as a smoothie bowl, add half of avocado to make it creamy.
If you want little sweetness in your smoothie go ahead add maple syrup. I didn’t add anything. Give it a try and let me know how it turned out for you. As New Year is approaching you are going to make resolutions, I think this smoothie will help you with some of those resolutions.

Wow. I can't believe you have figured out how to hide a red pepper in a smoothie. I love peppers, but I would never have guessed you could hide their flavor in anything.
